Before Cape Town, after Johannesburg and Durban…

French photographer Antoine Tempé gets us dancing through 36 portraits and photographs of performances by the greatest African and Afro-American contemporary dancers. Presented in very large format, outdoors, in public spaces, his images confront us with this creative vitality from the African Continent.

The exhibition is a production of Fondation Zinsou. It is presented by the Garden Route Botanical Garden, with the support of the French Institute of South Africa, and the Cultural Partners of the Garden, Chimes and Van Wyk Attorneys Inc.
