Wilfried N'Sondé is a French speaking writer and musician born in Congo, living in Berlin. He is the author of three books: the highly acclaimed Cœur des enfants léopards (2007), for which he was awarded the "Prix des Cinq Continents de la francophonie" and the Senghor Award; Le Silence des esprits (2010) and Fleur de béton (2012).

Wilfried N'Sondé new novel, Berlinoise (Arles, France, Éditions Actes Sud, 2015), deals with a political and sentimental education that takes place in 1989 at the time of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Hopes and disappointments before and after the fall of the Berlin Wall echoed the feelings experienced in South Africa at the end of apartheid.
