Fiction France: fresh French contemporary fiction to be read and translated

Published twice a year, Fiction France offers a selection of excerpts from French fiction along with English translations. The French publishers wish to highlight these books abroad by targeting translators, agents and publishers who take the risk of promoting contemporary fiction. Fiction France's aim is to create a new burst of enthusiasm for translations of contemporary French literature, to be a literary showcase for book professionals around the world, as well as an essential support to the French book market abroad. It is a tool which fully reflects the mission of the Institut français.

In each issue, you will find 20 recent titles whose foreign rights are to acquire. Please do not hesitate to contact the Foreign Rights Managers of the publishing houses at the addresses listed in the table of contents and on the page presenting each text!
