A specialist on national-socialist Germany, Johann Chapoutot, PHD, has published several books and articles on Nazi ideology, the Nazi vision of history and Nazi and ethics. He has taught in the US and Germany and often lectures in Great Britain, the US and Germany.

In France, Chapoutot is the editor of the 10-volume series 'Histoire de la France contemporaine' published by le Seuil. 
Johann Chapoutot, PHD, is assistant in History at the University of Grenoble, and a member of the Institut Universitaire de France.
