For the 4th year A MAZE. welcomes African and international game developers, digital artists, forward thinkers, entrepreneurs, and digital activists to Johannesburg to exchange tools, skills, and ideas in the fields of independent games and playful media. Workshops, talks, parties, and a games arcade featuring the pick of African and international independent games and playful media.

Alexandre Vaugoux is GameLab Manager for the CRI dev team (Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity) in Paris. After studying sociology and anthropology in Francois Rabelais University, Alexandre went to Vancouver as a visitor student in Simon Fraser University school of communication to study multimedia storytelling. This was followed by a graduate degree in transmedia storytelling at Sciences Po Grenoble. During his studies he had opportunities to work as community manager and project manager on transmedia, web and audiovisual projects.
