The Green Week

On the occasion of World Environment Day (5 June), the Alliances Françaises in South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland are celebrating Sustainable Development with a Green Week from 6 until 11 June 2011 comprising a programme full of diversity for all ages.
Exhibitions, conferences, debates, workshops are some of many activities that will be organized. One of the highlights will be: a French documentary film “Food beware: the French organic revolution” by Jean-Paul Jaud.

This eye-opening documentary follows an experiment in a small village in the mountains of France where the town's mayor has decided to make the school lunch menu organic, with much of the food grown locally…
