Le d\u00e9partement Audio-Visuel de l\u2019Institut Fran\u00e7ais d\u2019Afrique du Sud et l\u2019IFAS-Recherche ont le plaisir de vous inviter \u00e0 la projection du documentaire \u00ab Afrique, sur les traces des premiers hommes<\/em> \u00bb, d\u2019Anthony Binst, le mercredi 15 avril 2026, de 17h \u00e0 18h, au cin\u00e9ma le Bioscope<\/strong> (44 Stanley, Milpark, Johannesburg). Le film sera diffus\u00e9 dans sa version originale, en fran\u00e7ais, et sous-titr\u00e9 en anglais. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le documentaire d’une heure suit une enqu\u00eate arch\u00e9ologique et sp\u00e9l\u00e9ologique sur les traces des premiers humains d’Afrique autrale, \u00e0 rebours de la th\u00e8se d\u00e9sormais r\u00e9fut\u00e9e d\u2019un unique berceau de l\u2019humanit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La projection sera suivie d\u2019un \u00e9change, de 18h \u00e0 19h, avec l\u2019arch\u00e9ologue Laurent Bruxelles (IFAS-Recherche, CNRS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Audio-Visual Department of the French Institute of South Africa and IFAS-Research are pleased to invite you to the screening of the documentary \u201cAfrica, in the Footsteps of the First Humans\u201d, by Anthony Binst, on Wednesday 15 April 2026, from 5pm to 6pm, at The Bioscope (44 Stanley, Milpark, Johannesburg). The movie will be screened in its original version, in French, with English subtitles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one-hour documentary follows an archaeological and speleological investigation into early human presence in southern Africa, challenging long-standing theories of a single cradle of humankind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A one-hour panel discussion with archaeologist Laurent Bruxelles (IFAS-Research, CNRS) will follow the screening, from 6 to 7pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
