🧠 Colloque International BrAIn Evolution: Palaeosciences, Neuroscience & Artificial Intelligence 🌐

📅 Dates : 22 et 23 novembre

📍 Lieu : IFAS, 62 Juta Street, Braamfontein

🧠 International Conference BrAIn Evolution: Palaeosciences, Neuroscience & Artificial Intelligence 🌐

📅 Dates: November 22 & 23

📍 Venue: IFAS, 62 Juta Street, Braamfontein

IFAS Research, in collaboration with researchers Amélie Beaudet and Caroline Fonta from the EndoMap project, is organizing an International Conference BrAIn Evolution. This conference will shed light on the methods of studying cerebral endocasts to better understand the cerebral organization of our ancestors.

The EndoMap project, supported by the PROTEA program, brings together teams from the University of the Witwatersrand and the Brain and Cognition Research Center (CerCo) in Toulouse to reconstruct the brains of fossil hominids, using an interdisciplinary approach that combines neuroscience, scientific computing, and paleontology.

This conference will bring together researchers in palaeosciences, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence to discuss advancements in cerebral reconstruction and its significance in understanding human evolution.
