La délégation de l’Union Européenne en Afrique Sud, le département Culture de l’Institut Français d’Afrique du Sud et l’IFAS-Recherche ont le plaisir de vous inviter à l’ouverture de l’exposition “Growing up Across Borders, Youth Stories from Johannesburg and Paris“, jeudi 21 mai 2026, à 15h, au Dibukafé (70 Juta Street, Braamfontein). Financée par le Conseil européen de la recherche (ERC) et l’Université Paris 8, en partenariat avec l’organisation Refugee Children’s project, l’exposition explore les thèmes de la migration, du sentiment d’appartenance et de la discrimination, à travers la créativité de jeunes grandissant dans des contextes de migrations forcées. 

The EU Delegation to South Africa, the Cultural department of the French Institute of South Africa and IFAS-Research are pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Growing up Across Borders, Youth Stories from Johannesburg and Paris“, on Thursday 21 May, 2026, at 15.00, at Dibukafé (70 Juta Street, Braamfontein). Funded by the European Research Council and Université Paris 8, in partnership with local organisation Refugee Children’s project, the project explores themes of migration, belonging and discrimination through creative responses of young people growing up in forced migratory contexts.
