ISAfrica Stone Age workshop, 1-7 April 2024
April 1-7, 2024
Quaternary Research Station, Florisbad (Free State Province)
This week-long workshop is the result of a collaboration between the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), the National Museum of Bloemfontein, the Max Planck Institute, the French National Research Agency (ANR) and IFAS-Research. After a call for applications, fifteen African students and researchers, supervised by five South African and French researchers, were trained to read, analyse and interpret lithic tools through lectures and hands-on experiments.
