Voici le « Portrait de recherche » de Bacara Spruit, publié sur notre compte Instagram en janvier 2024 et qui présente son travail de terrain, soutenu par l’IFAS-Recherche en 2023. Doctorante en archéologie à l’Université du Witwatersrand, Bacara analyse les changements dans les modes d’occupation des sites de Grassridge rockshelter et Boomplaas cave au cours de la transition entre le Pléistocène et l’Holocène, à l’aide de méthodes innovantes, telles que la méthode ZooMS et les analyses taphonomiques.
