Voici le « Portrait de recherche » de Jeanne Bouyat, publié sur notre compte Instagram en septembre 2025. Jeanne est docteure en sciences politiques, ATER à Sciences Po Grenoble et chercheuse associée à l’Université de Johannesburg. Dans le cadre de ses recherches postdoctorales, elle étudie les rapports de pouvoir logés dans les politiques de contrôle des apparences dans les écoles sudafricaines, et leurs changements depuis l’avènement de la démocratie, présentés ici.

Here is the “Research Portrait” of Dr Jeanne Bouyat, published on our Instagram account in September 2025. Jeanne is a lecturer in political science at Sciences Po Grenoble and an associate researcher at the University of Johannesburg. In her postdoctoral research, she studies the power dynamics lodged in the policing of appearances in the South African school system, and how these have changed since the advent of democracy.
