Vernissage de l’exposition Zimbabwe Rock Art à Origins Centre | Exhibition opening at Origins Centre: Zimbabwe Rock Art

L’IFAS-Recherche, le musée Origins Centre et le projet Matobart ont le plaisir de vous inviter à l’inauguration de l’exposition Zimbabwe Rock Art : Hidden Jewel of Southern Africa.

L’exposition explore l’art rupestre du Zimbabwe, met en lumière certains des principaux sites d’art rupestre du pays, les chasseurs-collecteurs qui ont réalisé ces peintures, les efforts de conservation et les résultats des recherches du projet interdisciplinaire Matobart.

Le vernissage se tiendra le 28 octobre au musée Origins Centre de Wits, à partir de 15h.

IFAS-Research, together with Origins Centre, the Matobart Project, and students from the University of Toulouse, France, are pleased to invite you to the opening of an exhibition Zimbabwe Rock Art: Hidden Jewel of Southern Africa.

The exhibition explores the rock art traditions of Zimbabwe, highlights some of the main rock art sites, the hunter-gatherer population who made the paintings, conservation efforts and research findings of the cross-disciplinary Matobart project.

The opening will take place on 28 October at the Origins Centre museum in Wits, at 3pm.
